Services:
  The sleep specialists at Cochise Sleep Center diagnose and treat people who have problems ranging from inability to fall asleep at night to those who cannot stay awake during the day, and all sleep disorders in between. The goals of the sleep experts at Cochise Sleep Center are to improve the quality of sleep and to improve the quality of waking life.

Some sleep problems resolve themselves. Others, however, persist without an obvious reason. When difficulty with sleep at night or excessive sleepiness during the day begins to interfere with daytime functioning, an evaluation may be indicated. The staff of Cochise Sleep Center evaluates people of all ages.

Facilities:
The main sleep center consists of six bedrooms and all centrally monitored. The bedrooms are designed for maximum patient comfort and include cable TV to lend a sense of "home" to the environment. 

Staff:
Our Medical Director, J. Georges Youssef, M.D.

Dr. Youssef is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine and is a specialist in these disciplines. After graduating from The American University of Beirut with his bachelor's degree in Biology, Dr. Youssef attended medical school at The American University of Beirut in Lebanon. Following his studies at The American University of Beirut, Dr. Youssef completed his internship and residency at Good Samaritan Hospital of Maryland, a Johns Hopkins affiliated program. He then completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Pulmonary Transplantation Medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2003, Dr. Youssef entered into private practice in Sierra Vista, Arizona, specializing in the above fields.

Dr Youssef played a leading role in the recognition, improving public and physician awareness and treatment of sleep disorders in Sierra Vista and Cochise county.

Dr Youssef was presented Sierra Vista Regional Health Center 2006th physician of the year award for exemplary leadership and dedication to patient safety.
